BJD Clothes Size Guide: How to Check Body Fit Before Ordering

Before ordering BJD clothes, compare your doll body with the compatibility notes and measurements on the item page. A scale label alone does not confirm that an outfit will fit.

Browse doll clothes and use the checklist below. If the fit is unclear, ask us about sizing before ordering.

Check the Doll Body Before the Outfit

Write down the body maker, model, scale, and any modifications. Similar bodies can differ in shoulder width, chest, waist, hips, arm length, and leg proportions. Compare measurements using the same units and measurement points as the listing. A flat garment width is not the same as a body circumference.

Details That Affect Fit

• Body compatibility: check the specific body named in the listing. OB11, OB22, OB24, OB27, BJD, and 1/12 labels are not interchangeable fit guarantees.
• Measurements: compare shoulder width, chest, waist, hips, sleeve length, and trouser length where relevant. Ask about any missing measurements before purchasing.
• Fabric and closures: check whether the outfit stretches, how it opens, and whether layers need extra room.
• Photos: check which body is pictured and whether it matches yours.
• What is included: confirm whether the selected option includes only clothing or also shoes, props, accessories, or a doll.

Not Sure About the Size?

Contact GooMooPlay with the item link, your doll body maker and model, relevant measurements, and a photo if useful. Ask which fit details can be confirmed before ordering. Avoid forcing tight garments or closures over joints.

Before You Place an Order

FAQ

Will clothes fit any doll with the same scale?

Do not assume they will. Body proportions and garment construction can differ even when scale labels match. Check the compatibility and measurements for the specific outfit.

What if the listing has no size chart?

Send us the item link and your doll body details before ordering. A product photo alone cannot confirm fit.

Are the doll and accessories included?

Check the included-items description for the selected option. Styling photos may show pieces sold separately.
